Martel was furious when the referee signalled the play to continue in the 39th minute after one of his players was fouled off the ball, and decided to take the matter into his own hands.
As soon as he saw Fabian Benedet running down the left wing, he stepped out of his technical area and launched a vicious tackle on the attacker. An altercation between the manager and the opposition team took place after the incident, and even the police had to intervene to stop the situation from getting out of hand.
Martel received a red card for his huge offence, as Comercio went on to win their league game 2-1.
