England were 39/2 and Pringle was bowling the 8th over of the innings, having just dismissed Ian Botham. Graeme Hick was caught plumb in front of the wicket, but umpire Brian Aldridge deemed it not out.
Next ball, Hick was caught in slips, but shockingly, Pringle had overstepped, denying him the wicket yet again!
As fate would have it, Hick went on to make 83 in the match, won the Man of the Match award, and England won the infamous rain-marred semifinal by 19 runs after the Duckworth Lewis horror.
