As fans were still settling in at the stadium and on their couches in front of the television, Ba almost made it 1-0 in three seconds.
The Turkish club kicked off proceedings in the UEFA Champions League qualifier first leg against the Gunners and on seeing goalkeeper Wojciech szczesny outside the six-yard box, Ba immediately sent a shot that sailed over everyone and almost went in if not for the Polish shot-stopper getting a hand to it and diverting it on to the crossbar.
The match ended 0-0 with the main highlight being Aaron Ramsey getting sent off for a second yellow card. He will miss the return leg at the Emirates Stadium next week.
