Spain international Fabregas had initially posted a video of him scoring past the Belgian with ease, seemingly in response to Courtois’s video of him scoring a stunning strike from long range.

The caption to that clip posted on the player’s Instagram account read: “Easy practice against @thibautcourtois today in training.”

But the former Barcelona star hasn’t had the last laugh, with Courtois responding with another training video, this time showing up Fabregas with two impressive saves to keep out the 29-year-old midfielder.

Courtois wrote on Instagram: “Easy practice against @cescf4bregas.”

There are clearly no hard feelings between the duo, with Fabregas himself commenting on the post and clearly seeing the funny side as he wrote: “Hahahahahaha!!!!! Grande!!!!!!”
