Latvia’s Ernests Gulbis beats Roberto Bautista-Agut 6-1, 6-2, in the quarter final of the ATP Tour St. Petersburg Open in Russia on Friday. There was some fierce baseline hitting in the first set, in which Gulbis took a 4-0 lead. The Latvian had 12 break points and only dropped three games during the course of the match, whilst Bautista-Agut didn’t manage to muster a single chance to break serve....

The suspects, ages 17 and 16, were arrested on March 20 for stealing a car and leading authorities on a dangerous, high-speed chase through town. Customers in Las Vegas, Nevada find the mysterious cooler leads to a labyrinth of colorful designs that have gone viral. The immersive exhibit at Omega Mart affords customers access to a surreal world that’s unlocked with an employee card each guest receives — with no instructions. “When I arrived in Las Vegas, I saw multiple advertisements starting in the airport and social media,” said supermarket visitor Steve Yalo from Long Island, New York....

F1 Legend Nigel Mansell, driving his Ferrari in the 1989 Portuguese Grand Prix, was coming in for a pit-stop. Leading by 20 seconds after 40 laps, Mansell pitted, overshot and reversed half a car length. The stewards noticed this and disqualified him, but Mansell roared past the black flag and battled with Mclaren’s Aryton Senna before crashing into him and taking them both out of the race! The British driver later argued that he hadn’t seen the black flag but nonetheless, was fined $50,000 and was banned from the next race....
